Ayna ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Photos you upload: Your body photo and clothing images are processed to generate try-on results. Your body photo is stored locally on your device only — it is never stored on our servers. Clothing images are temporarily sent to our AI processing partner (FASHN AI) and deleted after processing.
Usage data: We collect basic, anonymous usage data (number of try-ons performed) stored on your device to manage free trial limits. This data is never linked to your identity.
No account required: Ayna does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate virtual try-on results using AI image processing.
To provide stylist feedback on your outfit combinations.
To manage usage limits for free and premium users.

We do not use your photos for training AI models. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Ayna uses the following third-party services to operate:

FASHN AI — AI-powered virtual try-on processing. Images are sent to FASHN AI servers for processing and are not retained after the result is delivered. See their privacy policy at fashn.ai.
Anthropic (Claude) — AI stylist feedback generation. Only the generated try-on image URL is sent, not your personal photo.
Netlify — Hosting and serverless functions. No personal data is stored on Netlify servers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your body photo is stored only on your device (browser local storage). It is never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
Your wardrobe items are stored locally on your device.
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Generated try-on images are temporarily hosted by third-party services and automatically deleted after 48 hours.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data linked to your identity, there is no account to delete. You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser or app data. This will remove your saved photo, wardrobe items, and usage history.

6. Children's Privacy

Ayna is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
